Steve Welch, needs funds during kidney transplant

Hello, my name is Linda Welch Waggoner.
- My brother Steve Welch is scheduled for a Kidney Transplant in mid-March of 2024. Unfortunately he will have to travel a significant distance as will his donor, for the kidney transplant. Their expenses, (transportation, food, and lodging) are not covered by Medicare or Steve's supplemental health care plan. He is retired with a fixed income that includes Social Security and a small pension. The travel expenses for both him and his donor will be significant!
Steve has been involved with many charitable organizations throughout his adult life. His donor has already made several trips between his home in Montana and the transplant hospital in southern California. Steve as well, has made three trips between Nevada and the transplant center (Loma Linda Hospital) in southern California. In addition, post-transplant will require lodging in the vicinity of the transplant center for several weeks for monitoring, in the event of a transplant rejection.
I'm praying that we can together help with these expenses for both Steve and his donor so they can both recover without the worry of financial burden.
