Steve Watson’s fight
I am setting up this page for my amazing brother in law steve Watson one of the nicest men I know.
I’m honoured that he’s part of my family , and is the best daddy to his two beautiful children Ella 6 and George 2 and great husband to my sister Vicky.
Back in March steve was in a lot of pain in his mouth assuming dental issues and was being referred to the orthodontist, having waited since March steve went the the appointment in November which is when the specialist raised his concerns.
At the end of November after being sent straight to hospital for scans and biopsies steve had the most devastating news that he had mouth cancer.
Steve has gone on to have various other scans and radioactive scans to see if the cancer has spread anywhere else !
They found a shadow on his lungs but thankfully this was a severe chest infection.
Steve is going in for his operation today 27th Dec, so luckily he was able to spend Christmas with his family.
The operation itself is horrific and there will and could be side effects. The success rate of this particular cancer is 90% , we know it will be a long road to recovery but I know and have every faith that steve will fight this awful disease. Steve will be out of work for around 6 months.
Steve and Vicky both work hard and live to their means without luxuries of abroad holidays and I would love nothing better than to give them a family trip to Disneyland Paris when Steve is better and give him something to focus on so he can enjoy some quality family time he deserves.
