It is a sad day and our hearts are broken. Steve Valentine, father of Jason , Lacie (23) single mother, Jessie (18) Valentine, first year college student and Peyton Segall, (5) granddaughter has had a sudden, non-recoverable stoke. He is currently on life support with a difficult decision pending for his children.
Steve was a brother, a husband for many years and most of all father. He was a devoted father for many years to Lacie and Jessica and loved reading to them at bedtime and carrying them around on his shoulders. After they moved back to California it was difficult for him to see them. He missed out on many life events but was still always thinking about and following the lives of his children.
For the last 10 years in Arizona, he focused on his work and the taking care of his long term ill girlfriend Lani. She is unable to assist with this process due to her debilitating illness.
The stroke was sudden and devastating and the children, Jason, Lacie and Jessica need help to cover the funeral costs for their father along with the cost of travel to and from Arizona which is where he lived.
Any assistance you can offer is greatly appreciated at this tragic time in the lives of Jason, Lacie, Jessie and Peyton.
