On Friday, September 13th 2019 Steve was hit on his Harley by a driver that hadfailed to yield at a green light to make a left turn. Steve and his girlfriend Dianna were both thrown from the Motorcycle after trying to avoid the SUV and being struck by the front end on his left side. He reached back to hold onto his girlfriend, she is very light weight and would have been thrown much harder if he hadn't done so. 
The injuries Dianna sustained are a broken clavicle, broken arm, leg, bruised lung and broken ribs. Without Steven's quick thinking, the outcome could have been fatal.

Now he is facing amputation of 40%-60% of his left leg. He also suffered a fractured  scapula, all ribs broken on the left, severely bruised left Lung, and Fractured pelvis. He will have a long and tough road to recovery, both Physical and Mental. 

Steve will be unable to return to work for quite some time, if at all. With medical and legal expenses starting to climb, and no knowing what his future holds, this will hopefully help make this process easier on him and his family.
