Steve Shifflett was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend. Steve was passionate about his career as a firefighter as well as took pride in being a Chief. He knew how to put a smile on the faces of everyone around him. He had a huge heart. He was special to so many people, and life won't be the same without him.
It breaks my heart even to begin to make this request. I am requesting memorial donations. The family unexpectedly lost Steve on Friday, January 13, 2023. We want to give Steve the memorial that he deserves. When the Shifflett family thinks of Steve, we want them to be able to celebrate the good memories they have with him. Planning a funeral while grieving is complicated. Any funds raised here will be passed on to the immediate family to assist in covering the expenses incurred after this sudden tragic loss. We take comfort in knowing that Steve is at peace, but to the ones who loved him most, this time feels far from peaceful.
