Steve Shafer

Steve Shafer started the battle of his life last year when he was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer. Steve battled colon cancer for over a year. He received 7 months of chemotherapy and 28 radiation treatments for his cancer and fought through the different side effects. He has always tried to keep that smile throughout it all. Steve fought and won the battle with colorectal cancer. His recent PET scan showed no more signs of cancer there, but it has now moved to his liver.

He has had many hurdles in the past few years and has been unable to work due to a debilitating work injury and now cancer. He has been without an income, and it's hard to know when he'll be able to work. He's been fighting to get his disability but keeps getting denied. His bills are starting to add up, and he could use our help.

Steve has a heart of gold and would give the shirt off his back if someone needed it, or he'd give someone his last dollar. He doesn't like to ask for help so I'm doing it for him, any amount, no matter how much, will help.
