Devastating day for my brother and his family. Not exactly sure what the source was, but my brother’s home caught fire around lunch time today. My sister-in-law left the home with her 1 yr old for an short errand to come back and see the house on fire. Jessica who is 39 weeks pregnant with her second child went into the home to try and get the dogs but the fire and smoke was too much. She is at Fairfax Hospital getting tested for smoke inhalation and/or stress on her unborn baby - they may need to induce because she was already a high-risk pregnancy. Everyone is so broken up by the loss of their sweet pups, Lucy and Bruiser in the fire. I can’t even imagine how they are feeling but please keep them in your prayers/thoughts so they can get through this tragedy.
