Steve Saciolo's Final Expenses and Funeral Cost

For those of you that don't know me, my name is Lauralee Hartz. Many of you are familiar with me through my cousins - Patsy, Vinny, Tony, and Stevie Saciolo. Sadly over recent years, my cousins have lost 3 of their siblings, Andy, Chris and Kathy, after having lost another sister Marie, years ago. They've also lost their mother, my Aunt Pat, and our Uncle John (our cousins Maggie and Johnny's dad), who have passed as well within the last couple of years. My family has endured a tremendous amount of loss, pain, and grief in a small amount of time and I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

As you may have heard recently, our family is once again facing yet another loss. Steve Saciolo, older brother of Tony, Patty & Vinny Saciolo; and cousin to myself, Maggie, Johnny, and Norma, suffered a massive stroke this past weekend and is not expected to survive.

As of January 17th, Steve has been moved into hospice care and the staff is going to do what they can to make him comfortable, but it’s only a matter of time until he passes. Once again, our close-knit family will find itself unraveling and becoming smaller; and my cousins are once again facing the harsh reality of making and paying for funeral arrangements for another sibling.

While I know times are hard for everyone, our family could use some financial help toward what Stevie’s funeral will cost. He has NOT passed away yet, but at this point, it’s inevitable and could happen anytime now. We’ve been told to prepare for the end and that’s what we’re trying to do.

While I'm devastated at the thought of losing Stevie - my over-protective, intimidating, and fiercely loving cousin, my other cousins are losing their older brother and biggest protector, and my heart is broken...for all of us.

If you could find it in your heart to help the Saciolo family with a donation, we’d all be extremely grateful. Our goal is to put together about $3,500 which should help us toward Stevie’s final expenses. We know our hardest days are coming soon – especially for Patty, Vinny & Tony, but I’m hoping to take at least one burden off my cousin’s shoulders so they can grieve properly and not have to worry about laying Stevie to rest. The only thing I could think of to do is to start a GoFundMe account, to help in some small way, as they face the loss of yet another beloved sibling. Any amount will help and is so greatly appreciated, and please, if you're the praying kind, please pray for my cousins as they try and be strong and face another huge loss.
