Good Day to All

This is a conversation no one would enjoy having to share, especially when it comes to the Valleys own, “Steve Rossner”.

Steve holds a wide range of friendships world wide due to his devoted character behind the mic at 97.3 the Eagle, contagious laughter at Karaoke, flush hands at the poker table, and his magnificent mastermind with his deck of cards.

Unfortunately Steve suffered major health complications, and as a result, passed away unexpectedly, October 8, 2025.

His soul mate Sheila has been with him from the very beginning, traveling to and from hospitals, Air BnBs, Hotels, Nanaimo, Victoria, Campbell River and Courtenay. Steve fought every moment of every day, knowing his companion was right beside him.

As we can all imagine, having a loved one pass away suddenly, we never tend to prepare for these days, which can find us in a Financial bind.

As a friend of the Family, I created this page in hopes of helping the family financially, so they can mourn the passing of their loved one, without having the additional stress of funds.

Steve will be dearly missed by all, and remembered by his courageous acts of kindness, laughter and love!
