Steve Rosenschein

A few days ago, Madeleine, Jesenia, Jailene, Angela and Adeline suffered a devastating loss with the sudden death of their father and grandfather Steve Rosenschein.

Growing up in Pound Ridge, Steve was an ever-optimistic friend to all who knew him. Moving to Florida he established a successful career in the real estate business. Circumstances brought him back to the Northeast where he kept his hand in real estate while managing the Horse & Hound restaurant in South Salem. Whether behind the bar or setting up parties and greeting patrons at their tables, Steve was the ultimate host, making people comfortable with a good story or a quick joke. He was a bright light to all. -------

We knew we would miss him, but we were happy for Steve when he made the decision to move to North Myrtle Beach to be closer to his daughters and later, his new grandchild. For those who kept up with Steve on Facebook it was clear how happy he was to be with his family helping guide and support them.

If Steve touched your life, we ask that you consider making a donation of any size to help defray the expenses associated with his passing and provide his daughters and young grandchild a modest sum to help them through this difficult time.
