Steve’s Recovery Time

Hi, we’re Angela and Connor, Steve’s children.

On July 26, 2025, our dad was involved in a head-on collision in Fort St. John — through no fault of his own. Another vehicle suddenly turned right into his lane, causing the accident. Thankfully, he was driving his large truck, which likely prevented more serious injuries. Still, the experience has been incredibly difficult for him mentally, and he’s now facing both physical and emotional recovery.

Our dad runs his own business as a driving instructor. As you can imagine, an accident like this takes a toll — and in most cases, someone would take time off to rest and heal. But if you know our dad, you know he’s determined (and a bit stubborn!) and will push himself to keep working, even when he shouldn’t, because he feels responsible for keeping his business going.

We’re hoping to gather a little financial support to help ease the burden so he can actually take the time he needs to recover without the stress of lost income hanging over him. Every bit helps, and we truly appreciate your kindness and support during this time.

Thank you so much.
