Seaford, VA - Steven Luke “Steve” Ramirez, 56, passed away suddenly from a heart attack on October 10, 2021, at WakeMed Hospital in Raleigh, North Carolina. He was born on June 29, 1965 in Rochester, Minnesota and grew up in Chesapeake, Virginia. He attended Nansemond Suffolk Academy and received a business degree from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia. He received a master’s degree in Hospital Administration from Medical College of Virginia. Steve has worked in health administration and insurance for over 25 years. He is the founder and president of A&B Insurance Services, Inc.
Steve’s family was his primary joy and focus. He was a devoted husband, father, son and brother, and it is difficult to put into words just how greatly he will be missed.
Steve is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Theresa; his sons, Jonathan, Steven (Jennifer), Brandon and Taylor; his daughter, Alaina; his parents, Renato “Ray” and Elaine Ramirez, his brothers, Ray Ramirez (Vicky) and John Ramirez (Dana); his sisters, Jill Lanois (Al), Cindy Miller (David) and Julie Hawkins (Joel); his mother-in-law, Patricia Blanchard; his brother-in-law, Charlie Blanchard (Jenny); his sister-in-law, Stephanie Trench (Patrick); 17 nephews and 6 nieces.
