COVID-19 has attacked our dear friend and brother -
Steve "PeeWee" Martinez.
This man of Christ became ill on November 1. He was taken to Urgent Care and was sent home with a prescription for anti-nausea. On November 2, he was taken to the ER and was diagnosed with COVID, and stayed overnight. He was sent home with oxygen. But Steve became more gravely ill, and his wife, Dianna knew something was just not right. Due to her quick action, Dianna called 9-1-1 and Steve was readmitted to the hospital on November 7.
Over the past four weeks in ICU, Steve has surpassed the odds of COVID patients at this level of treatment. His heart stopped and they had to resusciate him. We almost lost him but God decided that he has to continue to fulfill his greater purpose here on Earth. He was put on a ventilator and after only a week, he woke up! The doctors said that he is a miracle!

Today, Steve continues to be treated in ICU but doctors are hopeful that he will be moved to a regular bed as soon as he passes all the physical and neurological tests. The other day, he whispered to the nurse, "does my wife know you are not giving me water?" That's our Pee Wee!
It is unknown how long Steve's recovery will take as doctors have advised the family that he will be transferred to a rehabilitation center once he is discharged from the hospital.
The long term physical effect of COVID are unknown for Steve, but with the grace of God, our Pee Wee will be able to go home soon to his wife Dianna, his five children, and six grandchildren.

Steve has been out of work since Friday, October 30 so there is an immediate financial need to help his wife, Dianna with monthly/medical bills until he can return to work as an Electrician.
On behalf of Steve's family, they thank you from the bottom of their hearts for all your continued thoughts, prayers, and support. Your donation of any kind is greatly appreciated.
May God Bless you all!
