Hi there, my name is Carly and I'm Steve Quast's daughter. About a week ago, my dad unexpectedly went into cardiac arrest and was rushed to Mercy Hospital and then to Abbott Northwestern Hospital to get vital heart care after his unexplainably stopped. My dad had no underlying health or medical issues, regularly exercised, and was a healthy eater. To say that his going into cardiac arrest was a shock is an understatement. Since he was rushed to the hospital, he's had multiple surgeries, been attached to several life-saving medical machines, and is now stable with his heart and lungs working on their own. (Yay!!!)

My dad is the glue that holds my family together, and the past week has easily been one of the toughest times that my sister, my mom, and I have ever gone through. Any donation - whether that be money or keeping my dad in your thoughts - is more than any of us could ever ask for.
