Steve “Pickle Man” Medical Leave Relief

Hello, as this is Jess and Sara “The Wives”. As a lot of you may know Steve went to the hospital on Saturday January 27th because of a stroke. He spent a few days in the ICU and has now been transferred to a short term rehab facility with a tentative return home day to be on or around February 22nd. He’s doing well so far and has a very positive outlook on the healing process. Steve has been working hard and is already able to start lifting his leg, bending his fingers a bit, the arm is still very numb and doesn’t want to move so much on its own yet, but he will keep fighting until he gets there. Which is always good and we are all very happy about.

Now down to the the hard truth of it. Bills are still there. And when he gets out of the rehab there still may be need more time needed for recovery. He will be getting short term disability leave, but that doesn’t always cover everything. Right now Steve needs to focus on getting better and of course there’s that worry of “I need to get back to work”. We wanted to set this up to help alleviate some of that stress and make sure he’s getting better for him and not just to rush back to work. Anything you can donate to help will truly be appreciated.
