Hi everyone! This is Steve’s big sister Jo ( little sister lol)! All joking aside, we are creating this fundraiser to help Steve with his medical bills. He has always been there for us in so many ways and now its our turn to help him. As most of you know, Steve was EMSed to Green Bay for a stroke on Wednesday, November 30. He was induced into a coma in Marquette to get a port put into his head and to make the transport more comfortable. When he got to Aurora hospital, the neurologist completed a scan and then a scope to make sure it was just the one brain bleed. Thank goodness it was but Steve was having a hard time keeping his blood pressure and oxygen stable. It was very touch and go for a while. It's been a very scary and traumatic ordeal. As of right now he will be in the ICU until this weekend and then moved to a general room. We are hoping he will be able to leave very soon. Because of the transport, three surgeries, scans, countless medications, ICU room, and astronomical costs of hospitals, we are asking friends and family to please donate what you can. After all the medical bills are paid, any extra funds will go to adding a shower to the lower level of Steve’s home and/or to charity. We would also like to thank everyone for their well wishes and thoughts. We are very lucky to have the family and friends that we have! All of our love and thanks again! Jo
