Our beloved friend Steve Parks peacefully passed away at home on May 31st. He was 81 years old. In all those years he never ran out of things to say. Steve never met a stranger. He cared deeply for his friends and always needed to know everyone's family history. He was one of a kind, that's for sure.

One individual, who asked to remain anonymous, gave us an extremely generous check that is more than enough to cover funeral costs, settle any financial matters, and cover any other various expenses. They asked that the remainder be donated to a cause Steve would want to support. Since then, several others have asked where to direct memorial donations. So, with all that in mind we are setting up this memorial fund in Steve's memory. There are a few small things Steve asked us to do after he passed, and any remainder will be donated to his lifelong passion, Camp Woodlee. In lieu of flowers or other memorials, funds can be directed here and every dollar will be spent on things that honor Steve's wishes and his memory.

The funds will be managed by Jack Sanders, Ben Sanders, David McAlister, and Daniel McAlister. We want to share that it seems a fitting memorial to give all his friends one last opportunity to give Steve some money (if you know Steve, you understand what that means!)
