Steve Novak needs us!

If you know Steve Novak, you know what I mean when I say that Steve is family. If he has ever served you a drink, had a conversation with you, or hired you to be a part of his staff, then you know how I feel. He is kind and intelligent, and he looks upon others without passing judgement. He will listen to you, offer you support, and if needed, give you a chance when others won’t.
He’s helped us all at one time or another. Maybe he’s crazy for putting up with us, and maybe he’s not. Maybe he’s given you a loan. Maybe he’s given you advice (that was probably brilliant and also a little terrifying). Maybe he just let you sit in the office and pester him long enough for you to sober up and drive home. Maybe he just listened, openly and without reservation, when you really needed someone to listen. Maybe he believed in you when you really needed it. Maybe he was just your friend. Maybe he was like family to you. But whatever the circumstance, he’s always been there. That’s just the kind of person that Steve is.
Now is the time for us to be there for him.
A lot of you know that Steve has been struggling with his health over the past few years — and that this past year has been especially trying. He is fighting a long term, debilitating, degenerative illness. Along with that, and theside effects from multiple medications, he hasn’t been able to work.
Let’s raise such a stupid amount of money that he and Julie can deal with rising medical bills and not have to worry about the cost of getting by.
