Steve Nelson is my cousin Missy's husband. He is always so kind, thoughtful, and helpful. This past week he was helping to load a piece of farm equipment, a cultivator,  when the PTO kicked on and Steve's leg was jerked into it, tearing the muscle and flesh completely from the bone on the back of his leg from the knee down.  He is currently in JC Med Center, but will have to be moved to possibly Vanderbilt or some other facility that can handle his case as the doctors here do not feel equipped to work with such a difficult case. With high deductibles and looming medical bills on top of Steve and Missy not being able to work presently, I am sure it would be a great relief to them to have some assistance. He will be out of commission for at least 6 months after all of the surgeries are complete. He is facing up to 7 surgeries at this time. If you would like to help it will definitely be appreciated.
