Hello friends -
I have been working over the last year to re-establish myself in single life and build a sustainable bodywork practice out of my new home. I have partially gotten to that point until Tuesday, when I was finishing up a session and heard the neighborhood boy pointing upstairs, saying, "there's a FIRE up there...."
I went upstairs to see the 3rd floor unit fully in flames.
All the tenants in the building are displaced. My unit suffered water and smoke damages as did all of my belongings, so I am looking at a hefty storage and cleaning bill, which was a big hit in itself. A few dear friends are helping me pack my belongings right now, as I need to have everything removed as circumstances dictate. I am staying with a friend temporarily.
Most of my challenge is re-organizing (again!) and getting back to work as soon as possible. I work part-time, seasonally at Skillins, but for the most part, soon I will be without an income.
I am looking to gain solutions to establish a live/work location. Funds would cover up-front costs in signing a lease.
I'm projecting the best I can for the scale of practice that I envision,
