Steve Liebenberg & Lisa Cox
Donation protected
Lisa and Steve lost their farm home in Boulder Creek CA due to the CZU Lightning Complex Fire in the Santa Cruz Mountains, August 2020. Lisa built her home (nearly by herself) and Steve milled the wood. A lumberjack by trade, Steve Liebenberg is legendary in this county for tree work and a "mountain man" by trade, including rattle snake rescue and handling, and martial arts. All of their tools, and generations of equipment, are gone. Lisa, a woman of many artistic trades, works with animals and has a life calling of rescuing animals and having a safe haven for them. They have a donkey, a pony, a cow, 3 horses, 2 baby sheep, 2 baby goats, 3 grown angora goats, many chickens, 4 cats, and 5 dogs. Along with the main house; the chicken coop, barn, and cabin burned to the ground. They need financial help to re-build their lives (as they got out with barely anything). They not only lost their home, but a farm that harvested goods and resources that supported the community! They need money for equipment to continue their passions, bills, animal food, building resources... just to name a few. Please consider donating to this cause as they've been giving to this community for generations! Fire destruction is heart braking. Lets help put back the pieces. -Mazera Cox-Goulter (Lisa's daughter). Also living in Boulder Creek, CA.
