Stephen Craig Leslie, Jr. passed away on June 28th, 2022. The exact circumstances are still being determined, but it appears to have been a sudden and unexpected health issue.
The news of his passing has caught all of his loved ones completely off guard and left us in a state of shock. We are struggling to accept that this beautiful soul has transitioned at such an early stage of his life. We especially feel deep sorrow for Steve’s immediate family – his son (Dariyan), his mother (Gwen), his father (Steve Sr.), his brother (Paul) and his sister (Tiesha).
Steve had a spirit and energy that was infectious and undeniable. Steve loved to laugh and to make people laugh. He was generous with his time and resources and thought of others often. He cared deeply for his loved ones – many knew already, but up until his passing Steve had been taking care of his mother Gwen who was - and still is - gravely ill in the Southern Hills Hospital in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was a truly challenging time for Steve caring for his mother – they have always been closely intertwined in each other’s lives and depended on each other for love & support. It would not be a stretch to guess that Steve may have been struck with a broken heart.
As we all grieve and grapple with Steve’s passing, many have asked for a way to support the family. In a sincere & whole-hearted attempt to help, this GoFundMe fundraiser was created to give people a space to provide financial support. Proceeds will go solely toward supporting Steve’s immediate family – examples would include funeral-related expenses as well as arising expenses that may have resulted from this tragedy.
