Many of you know what has been going on with my Dad over the last few months but for those of you that don't, I will briefly tell the story.

On July 16th, 2023 my Dad, Steve Leffel, was found unresponsive in his house by my aunt Karin, aunt Lori and sister Emily. Without going into much detail, in the days to come the doctors would find that he had a very severe blood infection. For the first couple weeks they attempted to treat the infection with minimal success until he was transferred to an after care facility. Shortly after arriving at the facility the source of his infection was discovered. He had an abscess that required immediate emergency surgery. This surgery was performed August 9th.

In the two months since surgery there have been encouraging improvements as he slowly recovers. Unfortunately though, as it stands today we don't know if he will ever work again.

Myself, my sister (Emily) and brother (Austin) are asking for your generosity in a difficult time. Any donations will be used to pay for unpaid bills (rent, utilities etc.), after care cost and incurred medical bills. We appreciate your consideration.
