Everyone who knew Steve knew one thing about him: he would make you laugh.

Most of us also know he wasn't much of a planner for anything that didn't involve a flight somewhere fun or a visit to a restaurant with great food. ...though, even the food planning was notoriously inconsistent. His destination restaurants were so often closed when he arrived that he became infamous for this in some circles. His "Travelin' Man" username on the Roadfood website became synonymous with finding yourself taking a selfie with a 'Closed' sign.

Unfortunately, his lack of planning left uncertainty about what arrangements will--or even CAN--be made after his passing on Wednesday, July 13th. A few of us have agreed to cover expenses for whatever needs to be done. As people discover what happened though, there has been an overwhelming interest from so many about how they can help, so we agreed to create this fundraiser for anyone who wanted to contribute to the arrangements.

The plan is that any contributions will help pay for legal fees to secure the authority to make the arrangements. After that, they will go to the arrangements themselves. Anything left over will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
