Our dear friend Steve Kennedy has been courageously battling serious health issues for over five years. His journey has been nothing short of overwhelming — physically, emotionally, and financially.

Steve is now on oxygen 24/7 and undergoing regular dialysis. He has been rushed to the ER by ambulance 12 times just this year alone. His condition has worsened to the point where he is now in desperate need of both a heart and a lung transplant.

The financial toll on Steve and his wife, Joy, is unimaginable. Between skyrocketing ambulance bills, copays for specialist visits, and medications that insurance won’t cover, they are drowning in medical expenses. In addition to all of the medical expenses, they also have daily living expenses.

Steve now requires around-the-clock care — and Joy is doing her best to provide for him while also trying to work odd jobs when possible.
