Honoring the life and legacy of Stevie Jemison, AKA Uncle Stevie. Firstborn son to Serleenia Jemison. Brother to Kim, Vicky, Darren, and 1st cousin but more like a sister, A.K.A. Sadrina Walton. Sadrina Walton is the daughter of Howard Walton, who is Serleenia's mother's older brother.
Stevie, mostly known as Uncle Stevie, leaves a host of nephews from all his siblings. He was the funny uncle; he always had everyone laughing. He wanted to drive an 18-wheeler for a living, but he should have been a comedian. Uncle Stevie really had a spirit for making others laugh, and he did just that. With the kind heart that he had, he took on a big responsibility to care for his mother solely as a 24-hour responsibility, never wavering.
His life was tragically taken while assisting a family member who needed transportation to Atlanta, GA. Uncle Stevie left his mother in Sadrina's (sister) care while he traveled. His plan was to immediately head back with no layover. But the trip was cut short as the car only made it halfway to Atlanta before it lost control. Uncle Stevie was ejected out of the car on the highway. His injuries resulted in his immediate death. This was sudden and very unexpected for our family, especially his mother, who used Uncle Stevie as her sole provider and caretaker. They shared close love and company every day.
Due to this tragic fatal car accident that occurred many hours away from Cincinnati, Ohio. We are asking for financial assistance because it cost $3,000 just for the viewing of his body and cremation not including the travel and layover hotel expenses . The viewing and cremation process takes 2 days. Any extra donations will go towards a Memorial Re pass held for him in Cincinnati.
We are thankful for all your love, prayers, calls, and donations. Your support will allow us to take care of our Uncle the way he took care of those he loved. Thank you! HalleluYAH!
