Our school community was saddened to hear of the passing of one of our parents. Our community is small but mighty and our hope is to alleviate the financial pressures that follow the sudden loss of a loved one. 

Steve Holmes suffered a massive heart attack on June 29, 2020. While his doctors were able to repair his heart, he never regained consciousness, as he suffered from an anoxic brain injury due to prolonged CPR.  On Friday,  July 10, 2020, his family said their final goodbyes. Steve was a registered organ donor, and in his  final act of generosity and selflessness, 2 individuals received the gift of life.      

Steve was a force of nature; he had a great laugh, was quick with a joke and a smile, a man with true convictions who was generous and supportive of his family and friends.  His love of photography, a great tune, beautiful architecture, a great cross fit workout session and gnarly tattoos showed he was a true renaissance man.  

Steve will be lovingly remembered by his wife and best friend, Juliet, his two children, Hannah & Chase, as well as his extended family.  His entire family has suffered an unimaginable loss and as they navigate through this difficult time, we wanted to create a memorial fund to support Juliet and the kids to ensure that their financial needs are met.
