Over the years I have learned more and more that the cycling community is a tight knit family.  Regardless of what "club" you belong to or what shop club rides you participate in, cyclists are always there for one another!  Sometimes you stop to assist a stranded rider fix a flat roadside or simply holler "are you ok" as you slowly ride past them to ensure they have the tools needed to fix their puncture.

On Saturday, October 17, 2020, fellow cyclist, Steve Hamilton, an original founder and rider of what is now known as Stage 2 Cyclery/BOSCH cycling team, set off on a mountain bike ride after finishing his work shift at Ralph’s grocery store, located on Clinton Keith, in Murrieta, CA.  Minutes after setting off on a causal ride up to La Cresta, Steve, a fit cyclist as you can see in the picture, suffered a heart attack and perished while at the intersection of Chantory street at Clinton Keith.

Steve was an accomplished road cyclist riding for Canyon Velo and IE Bikes/BOSCH cycling teams, he was a musician, long time employee of Stater Bros., a loving father, husband and friend of many of us!  In order to assist his family with associated funeral expenses, his teammates have launched this gofundme.  Thank you in advance for your consideration and thank you again for being there for one another!
