About a month and a half ago, I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer. The tumor was successfully removed right away, and I’m starting to feel better than I have in a while in a lot of ways. But there’s no way to be sure all of the cancerous cells were removed.
Next week starts a six month course of chemotherapy. My odds are pretty good. Doc says in the best case scenario - and the most likely one, I’m under close surveillance for a long life, but a decent chance of being back in a chemo Barcalounger at some point in the future.
Problem is although I have health insurance - and they’ve covered a ton - they haven’t covered everything. The bills are starting to pile up, and we might be just getting started. There are so many new expenses. I wasn’t prepared for this - my own fault.
I could use some help. I’m really not super happy to ask for it to be honest, and I really don’t know how, but what do I have to lose?
Shoot me a message anytime.
See you soon,
Steve
