Steve Farmer's Recovery Fund
Donation protected
Dear friends and family - On behalf of Steve Farmer and Sarah Paris, we're humbly asking for your help. On the evening of December 14th, Steve suffered the most unimaginable nightmare as he was shot 6 times at point blank range in a brutal attack. This terrible assault was carried out by our childrens' biological father at our daughter's Christmas performance, in front of our children and church congregation. It is by the grace of God and skilled first responders that Steve is still with us today. Steve suffered gunshot wounds to his right forearm, two in his abdomen, one his right thigh, one in the back of his left thigh, and one below his left knee that ruptured his femoral artery in two places, resulting in an emergency artery bypass, shattered tibia, and a double fasciotomy to save his leg. We spent 25 days in the hospital and Steve is finally home. It is nothing less than a miracle that Steve made it through this ordeal, but we still have a long road to recovery ahead. Our business, BMX’n Sk8 Shop in Garland, TX has been shuttered since the attack and was our primary source of income. We are working hard to re-open for business as soon as possible, balancing business needs along with adjusting to the new reality we face with Steve's recovery. As you can imagine, the bills and medical expenses have completely overwhelmed and devastated us. We need help to get back on our feet. We are humbly asking for any donation amount you're willing to pledge and 100% of proceeds will go toward recovery and to provide for our family in this time of crisis. From all of us in Steve's corner - thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your help!
