The passing of my father, Steve Elwood

Hello everyone. This is Steve Elwood Jr. it is with a heavy heart I announce that my father, Steve Elwood, has passed away 01/13/25. If you knew my father, then you knew he was a great man. He touched many people, had so many friends, and I know his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved him. I want to give a huge thank you to those who supported my father, through thick or thin, especially in his final days. He loved his friends with all his heart, no matter how things may have ended with some. I am beyond honored to call this man my father. His knowledge, his strength, his passions… this man was an hero to me. Despite some rough ups and downs throughout my life, I love him more than anything in this world besides my own mother. And I want to greatly thank you all in advance for your condolences, and support. Along with funeral home expenses, we are dealing with quite a few business related expenses, and other financial hardships. Because I am now in a huge scramble with the tile business, and because we moved to Southwest Wyoming in 2023 after the passing of my mother, Rose Elwood, a service time & date is TBD. I will be sure to keep everybody posted on when I can either come back to San Diego to set up a service, or set one up here in Southwest Wyoming. We were in the middle of 3 jobs, one of which is a highly difficult installation that is going to take me a long while to finish, and may need to hire a second hand to help me out with. On top of that, I’ve been laid up with a bad groin injury for about a week, and need some more time to recover. My father was stepping in for me while laid up, so unfortunately I won’t be able to attend to our jobs for a couple more weeks. Every single penny that goes to this fund means more to us than I could ever put into words, thank you all SO much for everything
