Steve Edwards, The Real NHS Hero

Despite receiving the most devastating news regarding his own health, Steve has continued to push forward with his Fundraising for the NHS with his fantastic idea of "NHS Ride for Heros'

To help take the pressure off Steve and his young family, whose lives have been turned upside down...let's a put a bit in the pot for them, to ease the financial worry and so they can make some amazing memories. 

Steve is the true HERO in this. His first thought was for his family "would they be OK?" 

This is Steve's recent update ❤️

"A little update.... unfortunately the bowel cancer has spread through the bowel wall and made a bit of a mess of my liver. Leaving no healthy tissue, im not eligible 4 a transplant as its all 2 far advanced and expectancy afterwards is short as I'm stage 4!
The large tumours in the bowel are inoperable due to size, so within the next wk or so i will starting aggressive chemo. This is currently my only hope but I do still have hope and intend 2 smash it and restore my life back 2 normal.
I have a charity ride (NHS RIDE 4 HEROES) to do so I won't be sitting back and letting it all go by at any point.
I have the most loving family and friends around me and thats all I need 2 beat this.
