As a loving friend to his family...

It is hard to lose a husband, father, brother, and friend. Steve fulfilled all of those roles with a passion for people and an enthusiasm for adventure! I'm sure at one time or another Steve has helped one of you with a car repair, a house project, or just stopped by to say hello. As a graduate of Dundee Crown and Southern Illinois University, he remained in the area in which he grew up and was devoted to supporting local businesses.

Steve's family has been left in a tough situation resulting from their tragic loss. Steve passed away last Friday after almost a week in the hospital. Medical bills were accrued and now the family is trying to put Steve to rest peacefully and respectfully. Many friends have reached out asking how can they help.

Whatever amount you feel you can give to support his grieving family would be appreciated. Medical bills aside, they are focused on giving him a loving farewell and allowing his friends and community the opportunity to say goodbye.
