Steve Bruce is a one of a kind man. While there are many things that can be said, the main word that comes to mind is "Papa". Steve loves all of his grandchildren dearly, even a few extra kids that he picked up a long the way as grandchildren. The kids share memories with each other and laugh about the crazy moments. All the grand kids knew they could get their way at Grandma and Papa's house. Steve could be a little rough around the edges with a tough guy exterior, but everyone knows he has a good heart. Besides being a proud Papa, he is also a proud dad to 2 daughters, and 4 step children. He is also a few weeks shy of being a husband for 20 years.
Steve loves NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt Sr., and he was the go to mechanic for his family. You could find him outside mowing, messing around in the garage, or sitting on the patio watching NASCAR.
Sadly, the days are now coming to an end for Steve. The past few months he has been in and out of the hospital, but now he is home under hospice care. Unfortunately, due to certain circumstances, Steve has no life insurance. The funeral costs range between $6,000 to $8,000. His wife has been off of work for months to take care of him, so very little money is coming in. Different options are being discussed, but in the mean time, any help from donations would be greatly appreciated. Along with donations, the family could also use a lot of prayers during this difficult time. Thank you everyone.
