In November 2018, our friend and colleague of many years Stephen Bowie received the life-altering diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. ALS is a fatal disease which robs its victims of the ability to walk, dress themselves, talk, swallow, and ultimately breathe. All while leaving the mind perfectly intact.
He is a beloved husband, father, son, brother, cousin, nephew, grandson, uncle, friend and music enthusiast.
Stephen and his family are about to enter the next stage of their lives, which will come with considerable costs and resources required for his ongoing care.
As his Scotts family, we are raising money for him and his family. Aside from care, his wish is to visit with his family in Montreal over the holidays.
Along with his keen sense of humour, Steve’s positive attitude, infectious smile and ability to remain calm has made our office a better place each day.
