We are friends, sponsees, grateful members of NA who have had years of mentorship and friendship with this man,
Steve Bice. Chuck S, Michael F, Kenny S, Craig C, Ian, Buzz, Mac, and many more are facilitating this Celebration of a Life
Well Lived.

Steve started the first Narcotics Anonymous north of the Golden Gate bridge in the 60's. He died with 53 years clean at 80 years old and was in service as an active member the entire time, until early this year when he began having strokes that
limited his abilities. Until last year you could see him at our Unity Day or Sponsor/Sponsee dinner with an apron on and working. In the early years you would have seen him on the World Board in the old service structure and announcing our new
book, The Basic Text.

Steve lived the program and modeled the principles and our practices.

We are inviting you to a Memorial, a Celebration of Life

September 29, 2019
11:00 am to 3:00 pm

11:00-12:00 we will be providing light fare with time to Fellowship, and visit with Steve's family.

The memorial will begin around 12:30 and go until we are complete
and have time to fellowship afterward. We will end by 3:00 pm

All contributions will go to cover the expense of the Facility and the
food and refreshments that will be provided, as well as any expenses
for setting up the space for all of us to celebrate him in.

Anything over and above that will go to Joanne, Steve's wife, who
incurred many surprise expenses once Steve started his illness early in the year.

My name is DJ, I will be in charge of the funds and make sure all
expenses are paid and anything over that will go to Steve's wife.

There are a lot of us, so this shouldn't be a burden on any one of us.
Your ability to help us will be so greatly appreciated. There are a lot of men and women who will be coming to help setup, clean up, and all that entails.

Your contribution will make all the difference, and we welcome you if
you can come early to help out too.
