On September 24, 2025, our community lost a truly unforgettable man. Dr. Steven Bacall, age 60, passed away suddenly, leaving behind his beloved wife Kerri-Jude and their children Ben, Max, Emma-Rose, and Abby.

Steve was many things to many people: a dedicated chiropractor who cared for patients for more than thirty years, a generous community member who quietly gave of himself whenever someone needed help, and above all, a devoted husband and father. He often saw patients and never charged them, believing that no one should be turned away when they needed care. Now, in the same spirit of generosity Steve showed so many, it is our turn as a community to step up and help his family.

Behind a tough exterior, Steve was a man who lived for his family. He was their anchor, their protector, and their greatest source of strength. He was a fearless leader with a big heart, carrying the weight of caring for them — and often for others — on his shoulders, never hesitating to step up when someone needed him.

Now, as the Bacall family faces the heartbreak of this sudden loss, we as friends and community want to help carry them. The financial burden and the challenges of adjusting to life without Steve are heavy, and our support can make a real difference.

This fundraiser has been created to provide immediate help, to give Kerri-Jude and the children some stability as they navigate the difficult months ahead.
