A lot of you may or may not know our history with Steve Arruda. I (Katy) have known Steve since I was 12 years old. Steve was like the brother I never had and always wanted. He was always there for me no matter what time or what he was going through. We celebrated our birthdays every year together and never missed one year. He was the most loving, caring, patient Uncle & Godfather to my boys. I ( Andy) have known Steve since I was 5 years old. We were inseparable. He was the happiest man when he found out Liza was pregnant and asked me to be Olivia Shay's Godfather. I was also the happiest man. Steve was always at my grandmother Izilda's birthday and made sure she was always laughing. We worked side by side for many years. Steve made sure that he would face time Olivia Shay in between services and scared staff all the time. Played Spanish music and always had a smile that would light up the room.
Steve was a hard working, prideful, loving, caring, funny, patient, determined, fighter and family man. Over the last 2 years, Steve has been fighting the toughest battle anyone can have ever fought. He was diagnosed with Cancer. His cancer was spreading and there were no more treatments for him. Steve decided to be home with his family. He wanted to be surrounded with love from his close friends & family. He fought til his very last days. He passed away on February 12, 2021 and leaves behind Liza & his daughter Olivia Shay who is 4 years old. We are doing this for Liza & Olivia Shay because Steve would of done the same for us. He always made sure everyone was safe & well. So now it's our turn to pay it forward for him. All donations raised will be for Liza & Olivia Shay. Donate whatever amount you like. We thank you in advance.
You will be missed, forever in our hearts. May you Rest in Peace.
Love Katy & Andy
