For 17 magical years, Kathy and Steve Grafton brought joy and holiday cheer to Old Town Spring, playing the beloved roles of Santa and Mrs. Claus. Through countless Christmases, they’ve given their hearts to our community, spreading smiles, laughter, and the true spirit of the season. Now, they need your help.

On July 8, Hurricane Beryl struck, causing a massive tree in their backyard to fall and puncture their roof. Tragically, Kathy and Steve weren’t home to discover the damage—they had both been hospitalized, battling serious health challenges.

Steve recently endured a life-changing surgery, losing his right leg to amputation. Kathy, recovering from a serious fall, has been by his side as they both fight to regain their strength. They have since moved to Memory Lane Assisted Living, where they’re receiving the care and support they need to heal.

While their health is slowly improving, their journey comes with overwhelming financial challenges. The cost of their care at Memory Lane is $10,000 per month—an expense far beyond what they can manage alone.
