the funeral directors are setting up a charity for donations rather than flowers (flowers was not Steve’s thing) this will go direct to the renal unit at Exeter hospital that looked after Steve during his cancer diagnosis and operation. This will soon be posted here to receive donations directly.

We are heartbroken to share the unexpected loss of Steve Adamson, who sadly passed away suddenly at just 55 from a heart attack.

Last year, Steve showed incredible strength whilst battling kidney cancer. Even during the hardest day, he remained the kind, funny and caring man that everyone knew - he was a devoted Dad, a proud and caring Grandad and a partner who was loving and supportive.

His death has left our family not only grieving but also facing financial pressures whilst trying to give him the respectful and loving fare he deserves. During an already painful time, we are struggling to cover the costs of the funeral and immediate expenses that come with such a sudden loss. I never imagined I would have to ask for help like this but any support through donations or sharing would mean more to us than words can express.

I want to honour Steve's life in a way that reflects the love he gave to everyone around him. Thankyou from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support and for helping us celebrate the life of Steve xxx
