Steun mijn moeder's herstel na een gevaarlijke spinnenbeet!

Onze moeder werd 2,5 jaar geleden in Nederland gebeten door een wolfspin. Sindsdien groeit de wond op haar been en wordt deze steeds erger. In Nederland is er geen passende medische hulp, waardoor zij nu specialistische zorg uit het buitenland nodig heeft. Help ons om haar de behandeling te geven die ze verdient! Pyoderma gangraenosum, ook wel auto-immuunziekte dermatitis ulcerosa. Het is een ernstige en zeldzame huidaandoening waarbij slecht genezende, pijnlijke diepe zweren op de huid ontstaan. Zoals op de foto te zien is wordt ze hierbij van binnenuit opgegeten en ontstaan er wonden die niet sluiten, naar elkaar toe groeien en 1 groot geheel vormen, waarbij alles open komt te liggen. Het geneesproces is zeer moeizaam door de samenhangende strijd met rheumatoide arthritis en de verschillende bacterien die aangetroffen en moeizaam te bestrijden zijn in de wonden. Na 2,5 jaar van tal behandelingen (als in álles wat je hierover kan vinden), nalatigheid en onwetendheid van de artsen, is ze nu echt ten einde raad. Het is nu in zo’n ver stadium dat de artsen hier in Nederland aangeven (verder) te gaan experimenteren. We hadden graag gezien dat ze naar Amerika gaat, maar vliegen is geen optie meer. We zullen nu uit moeten wijken naar een kliniek in Georgie, want dit gaat zo niet langer. Hiervoor hebben wij jullie hulp nodig. Om alleen al voor een eerste keer gezien te worden en een eerste behandelplan te kunnen bekostigen is veel geld nodig. Maar niet geschoten is altijd mis. Van daaruit zien wij verder wat er moet/kan gebeuren om dit aan te pakken en mama te helpen. Since then, the wound on her leg has been growing and getting worse. There is no suitable medical help available in the Netherlands. So she now needs specialist treatment abroad. Please help us give her the care she deserves! Pyoderma gangrenosum, also known as autoimmune disease dermatitis ulcerosa. It is a serious and rare skin condition in which poorly healing, painful deep ulcers develop on the skin. As can be seen in the photo, she is eaten from the inside out and wounds develop that do not close, grow towards each other and form 1 large whole, with everything opening up. The healing process is very difficult due to the related battle with rheumatoid arthritis and the various bacteria that are found and difficult to combat in the wounds. After 2.5 years of numerous treatments (as in everything you can find about this), negligence and ignorance of the doctors, she is now really at her wits' end. It has now reached such an advanced stage that the doctors here in the Netherlands indicate that they are going to experiment (further). In America there is a clinic that can and wants to apply targeted treatment methods. For that she has to go to a clinic in Florida and we want to make sure that she goes there to be seen and treated. Because this can't go on any longer. For that we need your help. Just to be seen for the first time and to be able to pay for an initial treatment plan, a lot of money is needed. But if you don't shoot, you'll never hit. From there we will see what needs to/can be done to tackle this and help mom.
