De missie van ReBlessed Music Ministries:

Mijn naam is Howard D. Ik ben een onlangs tot Jezus bekeerde dj, producer. Ik heb met vele bekende artiesten mogen samen werken. (www.howarddmusic.com)

Toen mijn 5 jarige (nu 6 jaar geleden) trots de raps van een bekende Nederlandse rapper op de radio begon mee te rappen ben ik erg geschrokken. Hij deed dit namelijk om mij te laten zien en horen dat

hij de raps van de artiest waarmee ik had gewerkt al uit zijn hoofd kende. "Goed he?" - Het was pijnlijk om dat lieve manneke die super foute raptekst uit te horen spreken. En het deed me daarom ook beseffen wat voor schade ik en vele andere artiesten toe hebben gebracht aan de normen en waarden van deze wereld. Simpelweg door niet na te denken wat het effect kan zijn van de muziek die we maken.

Nadat ik me heb laten dopen starte ik mijn missie. Bij vele artiesten gaat het bij het creëren niet eens om de tekst van het liedje. Vaak wordt er zonder er goed over na te denken gekozen voor vieze taal of foute onderwerpen bij het schrijven van de tekst.

In Psalm 150 staat: Laat alles wat adem heeft God loven o.a. door middel van muziek. De duivel wil echter voorkomen dat artiesten dat plan van God met de van Hem ontvangen talenten gaan ondersteunen.In tegendeel wil de duivel juist zo veel mogelijk duisternis verspreiden via de hedendaagse muziek.

Met Reblessed Music Ministries wil ik het tij keren en de tegenaanval starten.
