This is the Poole family. Just this last week they received some devastating news regarding their 4 year old son Stetson. It was found that he has a brain tumor about the size of an egg located on his brain stem. They are currently at Primary Children’s in Salt Lake receiving care.

Mekenna (mom) is a 911 dispatcher for Jefferson county and pours her heart and soul into everything she does. She has been in 911 dispatching for about 17 years now in both Utah and Idaho.

Stetson is a bright young boy who is full of laughter, kindness, and extremely smart. Before locating the tumor Stetson suffered from constant head aches, not able to keep food down, balance issues, and having troubles with his sight. He will be having surgery this coming Monday to attempt to remove the entire tumor and will start chemo and radiation soon after. With this new journey of getting their little boy back to healthy MeKenna is having to take a step back from working.
