On August 23, 2022, our dear friend Terry received the dreaded call that doctors had discovered a mass on his brain. This mass was confirmed to be a grade 4 glioblastoma. Glioblastoma is aggressive and fast-growing brain cancer. To date, there is no known cure. Terry was initially given the unbearable news that the tumor was inoperable and that he likely had 12-14 months to live. Unable to accept this prognosis, Terry and his wife Sarah sought a second opinion. Within a day of meeting a new neurosurgeon, surgery was scheduled, and a treatment plan was put in place. Terry has since undergone two extensive surgeries in which 97% of the mass has been removed. The next step will be thirty sessions of radiation followed by a year of chemotherapy to slow down the growth of the remaining tumor. The goal is to extend Terry's life as long as possible. There are still a lot of unknowns in terms of side effects, prognosis and what lies ahead in the days to come.
We hope that with your kind donations, Terry and his family's financial strain will not add to their growing challenges. Funding will help them stay laser-focused on what’s essential - fighting Terry’s cancer without the added stress of overwhelming expenses. Any donation amount is greatly and heart-fully appreciated. Terry is a devoted husband to Sarah, a loving father to Amanda, Brandon and Parker and an adoring grandfather to Ava. They all need our help to fight and WIN this battle.
Thank You for all your help and support. Terry, his family and friends, appreciate you more than words can express. Together we will BEAT this!
