Sterling's Melanoma Treatment

Hey you guys,

 

My heart breaks to have to do this, but I have gotten some not-so-great news for my baby girl. Most of you know my sweet angel Doberman, Sterling, and if you don't, I promise you, you wish you did. She is the most gentle, sweet, friendly, adorable dog to ever live (every dog owner says this, but I am serious...). Everyone who meets her absolutely loves her.

 

A few weeks ago, I received some pretty scary news - my 9 year old angel has tested positive for melanoma. She has alopecia, leaving her tender baby skin exposed to the sun all the time. She only had 2 moles removed, but we have been encouraged by her vet to remove and test 6 others, get them tested for cancer and have her internal organs scanned via CT.

 

Her surgery comes just a week after I return from my sister's wedding in Italy, and to say I am financially stressed would be an understatement. It's possible her insurance will cover some of her surgery, but this is only a portion of the estimate for her treatment.

 

Anything helps...I hate having to ask for financial assistance and am so embarrassed, but Sterling needs me. And I need you guys. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart in advance, we love you all so much.
