Sterling Theo Michael Harrington

Sterling Theo Michael Harrington was born Thursday 8-4-22 at 6:57 am.

Sterling = pure

Theo = gift of God

(Michael was the name of Peter's stillborn brother)

9 pounds, 2 oz, 20.5 inches long. He had blue eyes (our first blue eyed baby), hair/eyes and nose like his big brother, Simon and chin/lips like his big sister, Scarlett.

He was perfect and healthy.

We had a magical first day with him taking in all his newborn smells, coos and sweet nature. We were in love and excited for this new season.

Sadly, he left this world and went to be with Jesus Friday, 8-5-22.

After what seemed to be a normal night with a newborn (somewhat fussy), I woke at 5 am, checked on him and saw he wasn't responsive. I woke Peter and we called 911. They worked on him for over an hour but he never had a pulse or was breathing. His spirit was already gone from his sweet body.

We are forever changed by this little boy. He will always be a part of our family. His first 24 hours were such a gift to have soaking him in.

We will always have 3 kids. Simon, Scarlett and Sterling.

And we are so thankful to have experienced him.

We don't understand it right now but God sent him to us for a reason. We will celebrate his birthday every year and never forget him.

We will be holding a celebration of life for Sterling on Thursday, August 11 at 3:30pm. You are all invited of course. We would love to see you.
