S.T.E.P.U.P. and say No to Bullies

We are teaching critical thinking and conflict resolution through a series of short films to help curb gun violence and bullying within schools and neighborhoods. We have done presentations at schools from Philadelphia to Portland Oregon, elementary through high school, and our message  has made a great impact on students and School faculty.

We have started fundraising to produce our second short film to continue our purpose to enlighten and empower the youth to help curb gun violence and bullying.

S.T.E.P.U.P. is a community-based organization in Philadelphia that primarily focuses on producing educational/inspirational short films and open dialogue about preventing gun violence and bullying within schools and neighborhoods. 

I am recently exonerated after serving two decades for a wrongful conviction. I was shot three times from behind by a Philadelphia Police officer and framed for a crime to coverup the unjustified shooting. S.T.E.P.U.P. is the idea I came up with while sitting in a cell witnessing the violence among the youth, watching them kill themselves or being arrested and coming through the system. My aim is to teach them an alternative to senseless violence.
