Cancer is a life changing illness that doesn’t just affect the patient — it touches and changes the lives of the whole family, the stress, worry, and fear can make it difficult to function as you normally would — and having support, whenever and wherever you can, can make all the difference.

That’s why we are doing this office walk from Rossington to Sheffield Cathedral: to raise the profile of Firefly and let people know they are there to help, and that their services should be used.

Firefly’s mission is to improve the lives of local cancer patients and their families by providing practical support, raising awareness, and breaking down the stigma around personal cancer issues.

By fundraising for Firefly, we hope to give something back for all the incredible work they do every day — offering transport, guidance, and care to people in our local community.

This charity is based right here in Doncaster, and more people should know about it. Every step we take on this walk, and every pound we raise, helps Firefly continue their vital work and ensures that no one has to face cancer alone.
