Hi, my name is Mia. In June last year, my family’s world changed forever. I lost my little sister, Aurora, when she was born prematurely. Even though her time with us was short, she touched our hearts deeply.

Losing Aurora took a toll on all of us — not just me, but especially my mum, and everyone who loved her. Seeing my mum so heartbroken showed me a kind of pain I never want another family to go through. No parent should have to feel that loss.

That’s why I’ve started this fundraiser. I want to raise money to support families who are facing the same heartbreaking journey, and to help hospitals provide the equipment and care needed for tiny, delicate babies who arrive too soon.

This is for Aurora, and for every little fighter who deserves the best chance at life.
