Support Stephen's Recovery After a Devastating Motorcycle Accident

On Thursday, September 4th our lives were turned upside down when my husband, Stephen, was involved in a tragic motorcycle accident on burnside in gonzales LA. A woman pulled out in front of him without warning, being unable to stop in time, he slammed into the vehicles side and went flying 40ft. The collision left him with devastating injuries including the loss of blood flow to his right foot. This has already led to multiple surgeries that have thankfully restored the blood flow to his foot. He is still not in the clear and has a long road ahead of him. Doctors have told us that he will need many more surgeries in the coming weeks as they work to repair nerve and tissue damage as well as mending a broken bone in his leg, multiple skin graph surgeries to close up his leg and plastic surgery. Not to mention the ongoing complications that come with such a traumatic event. Right now, my husband is facing an uncertain road to recovery. Not only is he in a lot of pain, but the financial burden is quickly becoming overwhelming. Between the cost of surgeries, hospital stays, physical therapy, and medications we are facing significant medical bills. On top of that, we are struggling with monthly living expenses since he is unable to work during this time and the foreseeable future. We are reaching out for help, and any donation — no matter how small — will make a world of difference. My name is Kelley, and I am organizing this fundraiser as Stephen's life partner. I will be the one withdrawing the funds on his behalf. My husband Stephen lives in Gonzales LA, I myself live in Canada.

Stephen was in the process of moving to Canada to continue our lives together until this tragic event took place and put a pause to every plan we had of closing this distance between us.

These funds mean the world to us. They will go directly toward supporting Stephen through this incredibly difficult time, covering vital medical expenses, rehabilitation, therapy, necessary equipment, home modifications, and helping with our basic living costs and lost income.
